Firefighter Close Call Video - Firefighter Training Gone Bad - Positive Pressure Fan Flashover Mishap

This video shows several firefighters entering a structure during a controlled training burn. Several firefighters enter the structure with a 1 3/4" hose line and advance forward."Firefighters were conducting search and rescue drills and evaluating horizontal, PPV ventilation techniques to see if we wanted to add it to our operational repertoire. There was a delay in deployment of the attack line, which allowed the fire to convert to a ventilation-controlled fire. We had three small residential occupancies that we burned over three days. The flashover occurred on the third day. NFPA 1403 was followed and because of that only one minor 1st degree burn injury was incurred, which didn’t even require evaluation by a physician."
